On November 5, 2023, Mindy Mospaw Poupore ’79 and Kathy Catlin Briggs ’88 traveled to Potsdam to award Tally Fenner ‘25 the $1,000 AAA Scholarship. Tally, a Psychology and Biology major, impressed the Scholarship Committee which was made up of Mindy and Kathy as well as Jacquie Morse Shellman ’69, Linda Dolanch Longhouse ’87, Vera Thurston Gibbs ’78, Susan Canale Hostetter ’81, and Molly Magee ’21. Tally has been a leader in Ago and on campus by holding the position of Academic Chair on the All-Greek council. She has shown academic excellence with a GPA of 3.8, and dedication to Ago as the House Manager, New Member Educator and President of the All-Greek council. She does all of this while holding down a job at the local Stewarts shop. Her letter of recommendation was the icing on the cake for the committee’s decision. Mindy and Kathy provided dinner for the house after the presentation, and it was wonderful to spend time with the Active Members and get to know them a bit. They were very welcoming and made us proud to be Agonian. If you are interested in participating in the Scholarship Committee, please reach out to either AAA President Clare Reilly 16, or Scholarship Committee chair Kathy Catlin Briggs ‘88 at kbriggs117@gmail.com.
